FileFix is a browser-based collection of tools for getting photos, signatures and documents ready for common forms, uploads and printing requirements.
What FileFix does
FileFix brings several common preparation tasks into one place: resizing and compressing images, preparing signatures, converting images to PDF, placing images on A4 pages, and building an organized document ZIP. The homepage also accepts plain-language requirements such as a file format, maximum size or pixel dimensions and uses those rules to open the relevant tool with matching settings when they are recognized.
Designed around the file requirement
Many upload forms give instructions in a mixture of file type, maximum size and exact dimensions. FileFix is designed to turn those instructions into visible controls and a clear preview before a result is downloaded. The goal is to make the final check easy: confirm the format, size and dimensions, then use the prepared copy.
Browser-based processing
The core image, signature, PDF-from-images and document-pack workflows are implemented in the browser. That means the selected files can be processed locally by the device instead of requiring a FileFix upload step for those workflows. PDF merge and PDF re-save load the pinned browser PDF helper only when those tools are used.
Simple by design
FileFix keeps the main workflow focused on three steps: choose a file, set the requirement, and download the result. Advanced controls appear inside the relevant tool rather than making every visitor configure a large set of settings first.
Privacy and advertising
FileFix separates local file work from the site's ordinary web resources. Product analytics is shipped disabled by default in the current release. Advertising areas are clearly labelled and are kept separate from file-processing controls; actual ad serving is controlled by the site's advertising configuration.
Use the destination's rules as the final authority
File requirements vary by form, portal, institution and country. FileFix can help prepare a file, but the destination's published rules remain the final authority for accepted formats, limits, dimensions and other submission requirements.
